Voices from the Periphery
OutRing is a narrative platform that focuses on how G124 is lived. It collects first-hand stories from residents in the urban peripheries where Renzo Piano’s G124 team works, and amplifies them through editorial reportages and community-submitted experiences.
This is an independent companion project, dedicated to narrating the everyday voices around these transformations.
Between two concrete towers in Borgata Vittoria, something unexpected is growing. Tomatoes, zucchini, roses, and, most importantly, conversations between neighbours who had lived side by side for decades without ever speaking.

The abandoned lot behind Via Ferrara had been a dumping ground for years. Broken glass, burned mattresses, the occasional stray dog. We walked past it every day, trying not to look.
“They didn't come with plans. They came with chairs and listened. ”
When the young architects first arrived in our courtyard, I expected blueprints and technical drawings. Instead, they brought plastic chairs and a simple question: "What happens here?"
